If you are an aspiring local inventor or trying to develop a new product or service then Jersey Enterprise can help.  We understand that it can be hard to take a bright idea from conception to delivery and we have a range of services to support you.  The Jersey Innovation Initiative offers advice and financial assistance to aspiring inventors and developers of new products and services. 

Support offered includes:

• Advice to new and less experienced inventors
• Contacts who can advise on how to develop ideas
• Information on how to protect an invention
• Advice on how to take a product to market

Funding assistance is available from Jersey Enterprise for local entrepreneurs to help develop your innovation, and a grant of upto £5,000 is available to eligible local individuals or businesses.  The funding can be used to help undertake research, development costs such as a prototype, or to help with the fees incurred to protect a new design with a patent.
